Petition: Take Action for Kitsap Agriculture

Dear Ag Partners,

After months of public input, the Kitsap County Board of Commissioners is preparing to begin deliberations on updates to the agriculture code as part of the Growth Management Act review.

One of the most important components of these updates is the long-awaited creation of an Agriculture Advisory Council (AAC). This council would include members from across our agriculture and equine communities and would provide essential, informed guidance to County leadership on issues that directly impact local agriculture.

Despite the clear and longstanding need — and 21 years of unfulfilled promises — it is still not guaranteed that the Board of County Commissioners will follow through on creating the AAC. We must show just how strong and loud our community voice is in support of this. 

We are asking you to add your name to this petition in support of creating the Agriculture Advisory Council. Your voice matters! And together we can ensure agriculture has the representation it deserves in Kitsap County.
