Dear Ag Partners,
Happy Giving Tuesday! We’re reaching out to you with gratitude — and a simple ask. Today is a wonderful opportunity to support the nonprofits and charities that help make Kitsap such a vibrant and caring community. Whether it’s a food bank, a school, an environmental organization, or any group that speaks to your heart, your generosity truly matters.
And while we’re always grateful for your support of KCAA, today is really about giving back to the wider community we all love. If you’re able, we encourage you to consider a gift to a local organization doing good work.
Here are just a few of our friends making a difference in Kitsap:
Kitsap Farmers Fighting Hunger – Supporting local farms by purchasing fresh produce and delivering it to Kitsap food banks
Fishline Food Bank and Comprehensive Services – Supporting vulnerable North Kitsap residents facing hunger and homelessness
Friends of the Farms – Strong advocate for local agriculture
Great Peninsula Conservancy – Protecting natural habitats and open spaces
Kitsap Environmental Coalition – Keeping our forests, water, and soil healthy
Kitsap Harvest – Delivering fresh-picked produce to low-income and low-access communities
Kitsap County 4-H Youth Development – Empowering youth through leadership and hands-on learning
Bremerton Backpack Brigade – Supplying weekend meals for at-risk children
Central Kitsap Food Bank – Offering free food to neighbors in need
South Kitsap Helpline – Helping local families with food and resources
Bremerton Foodline – Providing food assistance and essential services
Kitsap Humane Society – Rescuing and rehoming animals in need
Kingston Cares – Supporting families with food, shelter, housing, and community programs
Kitsap Regional Library Foundation – Enhancing library programs beyond public funding
Meals on Wheels Kitsap – Delivering nutritious meals to Kitsap seniors
One Heart Wild – Providing animal-assisted therapy and humane education
Toni’s Ponies – Rescuing mistreated horses and giving them a new start
Thank you for being part of our community and for all the ways you help it thrive.
With gratitude,
The KCAA Board
