KCAA Supports Local Food Hubs Through Donation to Kitsap Fresh

In March 2024, the KCAA donated $7,500 to Kitsap Fresh in recognition of their important role in supporting local farming. Since its creation eight years ago, Kitsap Fresh has played a significant role in connecting our farmers with our consumers - giving access to high quality locally grown produce and protein as well as value-added products.

In 2023, Kitsap Fresh sold upwards of $650,000 in goods, providing a significant market for over 60 local farmers and producers. The KCAA is pleased to help enhance the significant impact Kitsap Fresh has on our local agriculture economy.
