This year, the Kitsap Community & Agricultural Alliance (KCAA) proudly contributed their annual donation toward each entry at the 2025 Kitsap Fair & Stampede’s Junior Livestock Auction.
The Junior Livestock Auction, held annually in conjunction with the Kitsap Fair & Stampede, provides youth ages 8–18 the opportunity to raise, present, and sell their livestock. Participants from 4-H, FFA, and Open Class programs may enter up to two animals per year in classes such as steer, swine, lamb, goat, rabbit, or poultry.
Beyond raising their animals, participants are required to maintain detailed project records, complete the current year’s Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) program, and sell raffle tickets in support of the Kitsap Junior Livestock Auction (KJLA) Scholarship Program.
KCAA is proud to support these hardworking young farmers each year — helping foster the next generation of agricultural leaders in Kitsap County.
