KCAA Exceeds Fundraising Goal for the 2026 Kitsap Great Give!

First, we want to begin with a heartfelt thank you. Thank you for believing in the work that we do and for choosing to give in support of our mission of uplifting farmers, strengthening community connections, and deepening the link between our local farms and the families they feed. We set a goal of $2,000 for this one-day fundraising event, and thanks to your generosity, donations exceeded $2,250! We are incredibly grateful. Your contributions will allow us to expand our offerings of free classes and workshops for Kitsap farmers while creating meaningful learning opportunities for the broader community. At our Annual Meeting in March 2026, members of our agricultural community shared a strong interest in learning more about:

• Livestock first aid

• On-farm pest management

• Till vs. no-till farming practices

• Composting and vermaculture

• Soil health and testing

• Beekeeping and pollination

• Cider making
  

Our farming community also expressed a desire for more farmer meet-up opportunities throughout the year, especially during the off-season, so that farmers can stay connected and continue learning from one another.

Because of you, we are able to respond directly to these needs. Your generosity is helping us build a stronger, more connected agricultural community and create opportunities for meaningful engagement year-round.
